Run Again in The New Normal – Bangkok 2020

Prior COVID-19 Pandemic

Beside my life as an engineer, I used to spend my weekend with jogging.

I am not an athlete. I am just a recreational jogger.

My last race was in the North Face Challenge 100 2020 for 25 km race.

That was my first 25 km race. Honestly, I was afraid at that time since I did not prepare well.

After my mother passed away on November 2, 2019, I did not exercise anymore.

Losing my spirit for a few months, I realised that life must go on.

I started exercising again on January 2020 and on February 1, 2020 was the race.

Thanks to God, I could survive running 25 km.

During COVID-19 Pandemic

After joining race on February 2020, I took a break for my body recovery.

My next race is Columbia Trail Masters 2020 for 25 km.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic especially around March to May 2020, every people had to limit their contact and mobilities in Thailand as Thai Government regulation.

The public park was closed and there was curfew.

Fortunately, the COVID-19 condition has got better in Thailand since June 2020.

The public parks have been opened since last month.

Location: Chatuchak Park, Bangkok

Today, July 05, 2020, I start run again in the public park. My body needs to be adapted again. However, I have a faith I can survive for the next race.

Wish me luck on 25 km race August 2, 2020 Columbia Trail Masters 2020.
